How can we design scents that are relevant to a brand, a product category and most importantly, to people?
Evidence-Based Olfactive Development
I worked on a multitude of products ranging from deodorants, candles, lotions, hair care and fine fragrances for large and niche brands. My approach encompasses methods from ethnography, to data analytics, trend analysis and olfactive mapping which allows me to develop a brief and then to work closely with perfumers and evaluators to bring an evidence backed scent to life.

How can we create more memorable and emotionally touching experiences that connect us to a sense of place?
Scent, when used in synch with all other elements in a design, has the power to enhance the perceived quality of a space and sense of well-being. Similar to developing scents for products, but in this case, also applying, cross-modal design principles to translate textures, feelings and aspirations of a brand into a scent. I work with master perfumer Christophe Laudamiel to develop provide integrated scent solution from scent development to installation with our world class technical partner.
