Olivia Jezler

IS THE FOUNDER OF FUTURE OF SMELL AND HAS GLOBAL EXPERIENCE IN FRAGRANCE INNOVATION SPANNING NEW YORK, SAO PAULO, BERLIN AND LONDON, WHERE HER CLIENTS HAVE INCLUDED NEW TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS, FINE FRAGRANCE AND FORTUNE 500 BRANDS.

Olivia has worked at fragrance houses IFF, Symrise, Robertet and with master perfumer Christophe Laudamiel, whom she has collaborated with over the last decade on various projects and immersive scent installations including one for the World Economic Forum. In addition she took on a role brand-side where she managed the corporate rebranding and the development of brand assets of Brazilian multinational Natura & Co in collaboration with Pentagram London. Furthermore, she received a research fellowship in human-computer interaction where she investigated olfactory and sensory experience at the SCHI Lab at University of Sussex, U.K. and won the Unilever Fragrance Tech Award. Her time in academia opened her eyes to the science of olfaction and technological innovation that inspired the Future of Smell. With a degree in design strategy from Parsons School of Design and now teaching at her alma mater, she believes that when the invisible power of smell is combined with strategic design and research, it has the power to transform our lives. She is a Brazilian, Swiss and Thai citizen and currently resides in New York.
